Ďumbier via Štefánik Chalet
From the Trangoška car park follow the green trail to the M. R. Štefánik Chalet (1,740 m) – about 3 km and 600 m of ascent. From there take the red trail to the summit of Ďumbier (2,043 m). Outside winter the summit is reached by a detour from the west; the direct path is closed due to erosion.
Gondola to Chopok
Take the gondola to Kosodrevina and on to Chopok (2,024 m). From the top you see both sides of the Low Tatras. Fit hikers continue along the ridge towards Ďumbier.

Cycling
Quiet valley roads of Horehronie and more demanding MTB trails nearby. Bikes are stored safely in the ski room.

Grey Bear golf, Tále
An 18-hole course in Tále, one of the best-known in Slovakia, right in the middle of the mountains.

Tarzania rope park
Rope courses in the treetops in Tále. Ideal for an afternoon with children.
Bystrianska Cave
When it’s hot outside, the cave is pleasantly cool. The tour takes 45 minutes.
Weather on the ridge changes fast. Watch the forecast, carry a windproof jacket and in an emergency call the Mountain Rescue Service on 18 300.
